Kirtan with Brenda McMorrow
Wow was für ein Konzert! Zum dritten Mal spielte Brenda McMorrow in Zürich und begeisterte die Zuschauer: Herzöffnende Stimme, feurige Rhytmen, tiefe Präsenz. Und mit Matthias Govinda Roth und Simon Krauer begleiteten sie zwei ebenfalls wunderbare Musiker.
Der Workshop am Sonntag mit Mantra singen und dem Erforschung des Selbst, war ebenfalls von tiefer Präsenz und Freude geprägt und wirklich alle Teilnehmenden waren berührt und konnten etwas für Ihr Leben mitnehnen!

Brenda ist eine hingebungsvolle kanadische Kirtan Sängerin, mit einer tiefen Hingabe an das entdecken und das feiern unserer wahren Natur durch die Kraft der Musik. Sie ist weltweit unterwegs und teilt ihren einzigartigen Stil von indischen Chants, welcher uns tanzen lässt und gleichzeitig auch tief mit der grossen Stille verbindet.

Brenda McMorrow is a Canadian Devotional Kirtan artist, with a deep devotion to the unveiling and celebration of our true beings through the power of sound, she is invited to travel worldwide to share her unique blend of original folk-inspired melodies, world beats and sacred Indian devotional chants. Brenda remembers: “It was a very simple chant (Om Namah Shivaya), and at the time I had no idea what it signified: all I knew was that every cell in my body started vibrating, and I felt absolute joy”. While in India soon thereafter, Brenda began combining her own songwriting with ancient Sanskrit chants – and she has been flowing with this divine wave of Bhakti energy ever since.
We are very happy that Brenda celebrate her new albung in Zürich. We are amazed about the album.

“True Being Through Devotional Chant and Self-Inquiry”
This workshop will include mantra, devotional song, self-inquiry exercises and discussion about how we can use both the yogas of Bhakti and Jnana as tools towards opening to a direct realization of Truth!
